ABOUT

"How can we effect change in the world when only half of it is invited or feel welcome to participate in the conversation?" -Emma Watson

Women are not objects. We do not merely exist in the shadows. We have the power to make our own choices.

Our goal is to promote women to tackle skilled labor in the STEM fields and pursue their own dreams and ambitions despite any barriers that the modern world may propose. As supporters of the feminist movement, we do not believe that men are superior to females, nor do we believe in the opposite. We believe in true equality.

Our organization is open to both females and males alike, we work together in collaboration to push each other forward, past their limits and work in unity to exemplify the impartiality between us. We address the title of "STEMinism" as both STEM and feminism united, though we keep in mind their individual aspects as well and fullysupport STEM workers, feminists, and STEMinists.

Devoted to inspiring feminists and those who support the movement to take on STEM early, we strongly advocate that those who are curious, open minded and eager to learn deserve as much of a chance as anyone else. In the past, we have enacted our principles by taking part in online STEM competitions, competing in regional and national competitions, attending seminars, holding resume building workshops, and recruiting mentors.

In STEMinism, we craft our own identities.
